Who We Are
Staff of the Northeast Counseling Center of the Hudson Valley is trained to address many diverse situations including marital and family conflict, sexuality, aging, and divorce mediation. Originally established in 1970, the Northeast Counseling Center was created with the goal of making psychotherapy, short-term behavioral therapy and pastoral counseling available to all members of the community.
Those who require services that are unavailable through our center are referred to other agencies that can best address their needs. In this regard, the Northeast Counseling Center maintains relationships with agencies dealing with domestic violence, alcoholism, and other specialized problems.
We work with people in person and online.
Religious organizations provide community leadership, office space, and financial support as an extension of their ministries.
